I am a woman who has experienced love for others, love for myself, heartbreak, betrayal, self deprecation, enlightenment, peace, inspiration, and frustration. I've learned to use my emotions positively and to welcome them, because to be human is to feel. After rewiring my brain to have this mindset of accepting myself and loving the human concept- I use it to inspire my artwork. I'm celebrating the beauty of this concept through a collection of photos after being so inspired by the idea of the late 18th century Romanticism movement and meaning behind it. While attempting to capture the beauty of the human experience through my works of art, I focused on story telling and highlighting its simplicity through its complexity. My art style developed as I experimented with color and impressionism, as I am only but a human too that wants to widen my horizons as an artist.

I feel that we need more peace and reflection of ourselves and each other in this society where everyone is too focused on greed, selfishness or hopelessness. I think humans are interesting beings. The way humans have evolved artistically and emotionally is beautiful to me; an avid lover of people watching. I've noticed this beauty of relationships, both romantic, platonic and within self that inspired me to convey this theme of showing the romance of growing, learning about myself and how we are all different yet the same, or being human. Humanity cycles and rhymes. We grow from history to evolve, but also manage to stay in touch with our roots. Taking time to breath and look around to observe small moments within life is enlightening and brings a sense of peace, or maybe even motivation - however you would like to interpret that. My plan is to photograph people doing the mundane, feeling bliss and enjoying contentment. It's ok to be stressed too, negative feelings if dealt with correctly can lead to peace. I love to photograph people out in the wild - being in their own worlds. I love Jim Goldberg’s idea in his photography collection, "Rich and Poor". People not just being models but expressing their inner thoughts. Humans are more than an assumption, you can’t know someone’s situation and experience from their look. My experience comes from being a teenage girl, and I have learned quite a lot about myself and other people too. Be mindful of everyone, but also protect yourself. Balance is key. We are all different - and that’s ok.
